# Land

First factor of production

* Land is shorthand for the universe.  It existed before us, would've presumably existed without us, and will presumably continue to exist after us.
* Homesteading is enclosing for private use what you can reasonably defend.
* Colonizing is ousting previous inhabitants without "just" compensation.
* Can be generalized into two components:
  * Location
  * Natural Resources
